1) Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods at checkout:

  • PayPal

  • Credit/Debit Cards via Stripe (Stripe is our card payment processor)

Payment availability may vary by country, bank, or card issuer restrictions.

2) Payment Authorization & Processing

When you place an order, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to:

  • Verify payment details and perform fraud/risk checks

  • Authorize and capture the total amount due (including product price, applicable taxes, and shipping if shown at checkout)

For some orders, your payment may be authorized first and captured when the order is processed.

3) Currency & Conversion

  • Charges are processed in the currency shown at checkout.

  • If your bank or PayPal uses a different currency, they may apply conversion rates and fees. Those fees are set by them, not us.

4) Taxes & Fees

  • Any taxes (if applicable) and shipping fees (if applicable) will be displayed during checkout before you pay.

  • Your bank/card issuer may charge additional fees (e.g., international transaction fees). Again, that’s between you and your bank.

5) Failed Payments, Holds, and Declines

Payments can fail for reasons like incorrect details, insufficient funds, bank restrictions, or security flags.

If a payment is declined:

  • The order may not be completed.

  • You can retry with the same method or use another method.

Temporary “pending” charges/holds may appear and usually drop off automatically depending on your bank.

6) Fraud Prevention & Order Review

To protect customers and reduce fraud, we may delay, hold, cancel, or refund an order if we suspect:

  • Unauthorized or fraudulent payment activity

  • Billing/shipping information mismatch

  • High-risk transaction signals from PayPal/Stripe

If we cancel an order for security reasons, we’ll refund any captured amount back to the original payment method when applicable.

7) Refunds

If you are approved for a refund, it will be sent back to the original payment method:

  • PayPal: refunded to your PayPal account or the funding source PayPal used

  • Stripe (Card): refunded back to the same card used at checkout

Refund timing depends on the processor and your bank, typically ranging from a few business days up to longer in some cases.

8) Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you file a chargeback or dispute with PayPal, Stripe, or your bank:

  • We may provide order and fulfillment information to the processor to respond to the dispute.

  • Disputes can delay refunds or resolution until the processor completes their review.

If there’s a real problem, contacting us first is usually faster than letting banks play detective for 45 days.
